  • Expert Thierry Coulet MEDSTAT III of the program from May 31 to June 3, 2011, the task of dealing with: the development of statistics of transport of goods by sea within the program MEDSTAT III

 

Dr. Kinnon Scott, Economist at the World Bank - undertook a follow up technical assistance mission at CAS, from 7 till 11 June 2010, on the preparation and the implementation of the 2010 Household Budget Survey and monitoring, and other social statistics topics.


Mrs. Monica Fong, World Bank Senior Consultant in Gender Statistics undertook a technical assistance mission at CAS, from May 27 till June 5, 2010 on Gender Statistics in Lebanon.


Mr. Derek Blades- World Bank Senior Consultant in National Accounts- undertook a technical assistance mission at CAS, in March 2010, on the ‘“Feasibility of the Implementation on the National Accounts Guidelines for the ICP 2011”.


Mr. Kari Maninnen -IMF expert (METAC) -undertook a follow up technical assistance mission, at CAS, in January 2010 related to the progress made in the calculation of the CPI. (Note that CAS has been calculating the CPI on monthly basis since 19th of March 2008).


Dr. Kinnon Scott, and Mr. Chadi Bou Habib - Economists at the World Bank - undertook a technical assistance mission at CAS, in December 2009 on the preparation and the implementation of the 2010, Household Budget Survey and poverty monitoring, and other social statistics topics.


Mr. Omar Hakouz-IMF expert (METAC) - undertook a technical assistance mission at CAS, in June 2009 on National Accounts Statistics on:

  1. Extraction results from productive sectors study and their use in the national accounts.
  2. Reviewing household consumption
  3. Reviewing Foreign Trade Statistics
  4. Reviewing Fixed Capital Estimation
