About this publication
The National Survey of Household Living Conditions 2004 — a collaborative effort between CAS, the Ministry of Social Affairs and the United Nations Development Program’s project “Capacity Building for Poverty Reduction” — assesses the economic and social conditions of households in Lebanon. The survey offers comprehensive data and key social indicators on: demographic status, educational conditions, employment and unemployment, health insurance, chronic diseases, disability, leisure activities, the characteristics of residences and available household appliances.
الدراسة الوطنية للأحوال المعيشية للأسر لعام 2004 هي جهد مشترك بين إدارة الإحصاء المركزي ووزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية ومشروع برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي المعني ببناء القدرات للحد من الفقر، وتهدف إلى تقييم الأوضاع الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للأسر في لبنان. ويوفر هذا المسح بيانات شاملة ومؤشرات اجتماعية رئيسية حول الخصائص السكانية، والأوضاع التعليمية، والعمالة والبطالة، والتأمين الصحي، والأمراض المزمنة، والإعاقة، والأنشطة الثقافية والترفيهية، إضافةً إلى الخصائص الأساسية للمساكن والأجهزة المنزلية المتوفرة فيها
