About this publication

The Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee (LPDC), the Lebanese Central Administration of Statistics (CAS), and the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) have released a detailed analytical report on the “Population and Housing Census in the Palestinian Camps and Gatherings in Lebanon, 2017”.
Prepared by a team of international experts with the support of working teams from both the Lebanese and Palestinian statistical offices, this report builds on the key findings report disseminated in early 2018.
It provides a comprehensive snapshot of the conditions of Palestinian refugees residing in 12 camps and 156 gatherings across Lebanon. The report offers quantitative insights into the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the Palestinian refugee population, as well as their housing conditions.
